Kenny (Chet) Ruzika, 17, of Sunbury, went to be with the Lord April 17, 2012. Junior at Big Walnut High School and attended Delaware Area Career Center, studying to be a firefighter. Member of Northside Fellowship Church in Westerville. Survived by mother, Paula of Sunbury; father Kenneth F. of Canal Winchester. sisters; Mikayla of the home and Krista Collins of Georgia. maternal grandfather Robert (Carolyn) Derenberger of Lancaster, OH.
maternal grandmother Sandra (Dwight) VanBuren of Howard, OH. aunts; Denise (Scott) Stewart of Centerburg, Diane Schriver of Westerville and Michelle (Eric) Lutz of Arizona. cousins; Paige, Travis, Jeremy, Miranda, Liesel, Aurick and many friends. Friends may call at the Northside Fellowship Church, 6841 Freeman Road Westerville, OH 43082, Thursday April 19th from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday April 20, 2012 at GENOA BAPTIST CHURCH, corner of Lewis Center Road and Route 3 Galena, OH. Pastor Jeff Dybdahl officiating. Interment Sunbury Memorial Park, Sunbury, Ohio. Arrangements by the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, Westerville, Ohio.

Paula, we are so very sorry to hear about Kenny, it is such a shock. He was a great kid and will fondly be remembered from our little league baseball days. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Mikalya and the rest of your family.

I remember Kenny from football at East Knox School, he played with my son Zach and was a year ahead of him in school. He was a super kid, and very well liked. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all his family and friends.
