Keith A. Staten, age 51, of Westerville, passed away unexpectedly October 25, 2013 at home. Formerly employed by The Ohio State University College of Optometry and College of Engineering as an instrument maker. Survived by his daughter, Madison Staten; mother, Nancy Staten; sisters, Julie (Brad) Cantrell and Amy (Bob) Parsons; brother, Jeff Staten; nieces and nephews, Brandi, Bradley, Andy, Joel, Allison, Lyndsey, Sarah, Eric and Jonathan; best friend for 32 years, Sandra Kronk. Preceded in death by his father, Darrel Staten. Thanks to special friends, Tiffany and Tim, Steve and Joyce, Paulie and many special neighbors. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Friday 5:30-7:30 p.m. followed by a service at 7:30 p.m., Pastor Brett Castle, officiating. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society in Keith’s name.

Staten family–was in a total state of shock when I read about Keith–please know that all of you are in my prayers–we all know he has gone to a much better place and that he is with his Father and dad–know you have been blessed to have Keith in your lives

I am sadden to hear of the loss of Keith. Losing anyone we love is difficult. But we know that our loss is only temporary.
Jesus said: “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” – John 11:25
The Bible teaches that the dead will live again.
Jesus Christ himself said: “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” – John 5:28, 29

Aunt Nancy, Julie, Jeff, Amy, Maddie and Sam… We are so incredibly sorry for your loss. This is more than anyone should have to endure! I hope you can find comfort in knowing that Uncle Darrel and Keith are together and they are whole again. Love, Dave and Lori
