Kathleen Marie Schwartz, age 43, of Westerville, peacefully passed away Thursday. March 22, 2012 after a short but very courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Abington, PA on December 16, 1968 to Arthur and Anna Webber. Kathleen spent her childhood living in suburban Philadelphia before attending and graduating from Cedarville University. After marrying Mark Schwartz in 1991, they established a home in Carlisle, PA where she was a teacher, coach, community leader and devoted mom. All four of their children (Taylor, Grant, Reagan and Anna) were born there. The family moved to Westerville, OH in 2006. For the past several years, Kathleen was a physical education teacher as well as a basketball and volleyball coach at Polaris Christian Academy and an active member at Westerville Christian Church. In addition to her children, of whom she was so proud, her legacy will be the extraordinary impact she left on countless lives throughout her life as she selflessly sought to help, teach, guide and give back to others. Katleen is survived be her loving husband of 20 years, Mark; children Taylor, Grant, Reagan and Anna. Also surviving are her parents Arthur and Anna Webber , siblings Arthur, Evanna (DeFonteny), Wesley and Clifton and their spouses, and several beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Wednesday March 28, from 10 am to 1 pm at Westerville Christian Church, 471 E. College Avenue, Westerville, Ohio 43081. A Celebration of Life service will immediatedly follow at 1 pm with Pastor Greg Bondurant officiating.
