Katherine L. Wellman, age 87, of Westerville, passed away peacefully February 26, 2016. Retired from AT & T after 36 1/2 years. Proud member of IBEW and a life long Telephone Pioneer. A beloved mother and grandmother, she was also a strong and independent woman who gave her family the gift of a work ethic and an opportunity for a better life. She was fun loving and adventurous and encouraged us to be daring. Survived by her daughters, Patsy (Dick) Lemaster of Newark, Brenda (Randy) May of Hilton Head Island, SC and Paula Terry-Locke (Jim Thurman) of Westerville; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Terry, Sr., her son Thomas E. “Woody” Terry, Jr., sisters, Pauline Roberts and Laura Puckett. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where service will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Emily Corzine, officiating. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate.

Mom, you made me laugh, you made me cry, you made me strong and taught me by example to work hard if I wanted things in life. You are with the Lord now but one day soon I will see you again. I will miss you here on earth but I’ll cling to the good memories. I love you. Patsy
