I am so sorry to hear about Julie’s passing. I can’t imagine how heartbreaking and overwhelming this is, especially happening so suddenly. No matter what life looked like between us at times, I will always honor the role Julie held in Marlee and Baylee’s lives. She loved them, and she was their grandmother — and that bond matters. Please know I’m holding all of you in my heart as you grieve. I’m praying for comfort and peace in the days ahead, and I hope the love Julie gave will continue to live on through the memories you all carry. -Amy Coffey & Family

I was very heartbroken to hear the passing of Julie. I met her years ago at the Cosmo prof store and pretty much saw her face every week. The Thursday before we were talking about our grandchildren as I just became a new grandparent in October and how she said it was the best feeling ever. Julie always had a smile and was always laughing and always helped me whenever I needed. My condolences to her entire family as they navigate through this difficult time. Julie will be missed and may she rest in peace.

Unfortunately having never met Julie, it is obvious from the photo that she was a bigger than life persona. My hope is the healing process will replace grief with great memories, which it appears will be many. To Bob, from the myself and the MVMR model railroad group, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family throughout. God Bless…

Over the past 35 years, I’ve had the privilege of knowing her and witnessing the love you both shared. My condolences go out to you and your family in this heartbreaking moment. May the warmth of your memories together bring solace, and may you find peace as you grieve.

Julie was a very big part of my life before and during my adventure of becoming an independent stylist. During that friendship I learned she was the mother of Shaun and Scott who I went to highschool with. I always appreciated the help she gave when I was stuck on a color formula and loved how she supported my daughter during girlscout cookie season. I was lucky enough to see Julie on her last day, and I’m glad I was able to be with her so she was not alone during a scary moment. I wish for peace and sending all my love to her family. I wish I could’ve done more.

The Bell Family - Dec 27, 2025

Bob and family, we cannot begin to comprehend the weight of your loss, but we stand with you in sorrow and remembrance. May you find comfort in the assurance that “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). As you navigate the difficult days ahead, we pray that God’s presence surrounds you with peace. May He strengthen you with His grace, and uphold you with the hope that love endures beyond this life. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this time of profound loss.

Julie was a very sweet and kind neighbor. I enjoyed talking to her when I was out walking my dogs or foster dogs and my dogs will miss their conversations with her over the fence. She never was bothered by my pack and I would hear her having sweet conversations with them if they caught her outside. Her kind heart and smile will be greatly missed in the neighborhood. I’m so sorry for your loss.

I worked with Julie at Cosmo Prof. She was so kind and helpful. She called me daily, multiple times a day! She was a true mentor to me. She supported me while I ran my own store. Even was encouraging and supportive when I lost my job. I couldn’t have asked for a better work mama. She spoke about her family with such pride. She loved every single one of them. I am so sorry for your loss. Julie is truly missed and will always be in my heart.

Julie will be missed immensely by all of us in the hair industry! She was such a caring and personable individual, making sure she knew everyone walking through CosmoProf’s door by their first name. Always eager to help with any questions, but then would take the time to ask about your family and truly care. Julie, you’re one of a kind, a bright light in everyone’s day, and the impression you’ve left for us will be in our hearts always!!

Angie Bronowski (Shannon) - Dec 27, 2025

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Julie. Growing up with her was one of the greatest gifts of my life. Every conversation was filled with laughter as we reminisced about all the silly things we did together. I fondly remember calling each other and meeting halfway to walk to each other’s houses, sharing moments that will forever remain in my heart. Even though I moved away for many years, our connection was timeless. Whenever we spoke, it felt like no time had passed, and we would effortlessly slip back into those cherished memories. Losing her is a profound loss, and my heart goes out to her family during this difficult time. With deepest sympathy.
