Joseph E. “Joe” Goodwin, age 92, of Columbus, formerly of Westerville, passed away April 4, 2018. Employed by Moreland Funeral Home and formerly employed by Wilkin Ford and Otterbein College. Member of American Legion Young-Budd Post 171. World War II veteran, 1400th Army Air Force Base Unit. Survived by companion, Norma Buckenberger; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Muriel Goodwin, sisters, Florence, Fannie, Charlotte and Leila, brothers, Walter, Jr., Harry and Jack. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Monday 6-8 p,.m. where service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., Dr. David Hogg, officiating. Interment Otterbein Cemetery.
