John Joseph Willnauer died in his home in Westerville, Ohio 22 August 2016. He was born 26 October 1928 in Hollis, Queens, New York to John Simon Willnauer and Carolyn Bertha Klein. He served in the Navy near the end of WWII 1945-49. He worked for AT&T from 1951-82. After living in Amityville, New York for 30 years they moved to Westerville in 1985. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Melba Jeanette Butler and his three daughters, Nancy (Robert) Parker of Virginia, Linda (Joseph) Bilardello of Westerville, Ohio, and Karen (Timothy) Schmid of Marysville, Ohio; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, Rebecca Lawrence (sons, Brenan Lawrence, Mason Hansford), Mike Lawrence, John (Tanya) Lawrence (son, Brixton and daughter, Hadley), Brian Bilardello, Christopher Bilardello (son, Austin), Lindsey (Joseph) Bilardello Hay (son, Declan), Joseph Bilardello, Kristen Parker and Matthew Parker. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. followed by a service at 7 p.m.. Private interment.
