John R. Wilhelm of Columbus, OH. After a long courageous battle with cancer, John passed away Monday, October 14, 2013.He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 29 years, Donna; loving daughter, Melissa (Patrick Snider) Madden; son, Cary Madden; grandchildren, Brandon, Samantha and Ally. I was a proud Poppa! Poppa loves you! Also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand nephews. John felt blessed to be an employee of St. Francis DeSales High School. A memorial service will be held at St. Francis DeSales High School Chapel on Sunday, October 20th at 1:30 p.m.. Pastor Loren Seibold officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pelotonia rider Sam Legg who will ride in John’s memory at 351 W. Nationwide Blvd, Columbus, OH 43215 or to St. Francis DeSales High School 4212 Karl Rd. Columbus, OH 43224. Arrangements by MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, Westerville.
