John C. Sheppard, age 84, of Westerville, OH passed away November 2, 2016. Retired accountant. Member of Westerville and Blendon Senior Centers where he loved playing pool and bridge. He enjoyed Otterbein Theatre for many years. U.S. Army veteran. Survived by his daughter, Karen (Mark) Payne of Davenport, Iowa and son, Mark Sheppard of Columbus, OH. Preceded in death by his wife Martha. Memorial service will be held at Central College Presbyterian Church Chapel, 975 S. Sunbury Road, Westerville, Monday at 11 a.m., Rev. David M.Redding, officiating. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Inniswoods Garden Society, 940 S. Hempstead Road, Westerville, OH 43081.
