Dorothy Bauer Dunco - Aug 18, 2022

My parents-Ralph & Loretta Bauer lived across the street from his parents in Bancroft Hills. His sister Jeannie contracted polio at an early age and My mother assisted Virginia with her care. Virginia was a big help to my mother in raising me and my sisters. Following their move away from Bancroft Hills, we attempted to visit with his mom, and following his birth, she never again spoke to my Mom. My Mom was very disturbed and thought it may have had something to do with post-partum depression. His dad Pierre was a professor at the University of Toledo and always very kind. I have many memories of Jeannie as she was several years younger than me. I believe she entered the convent and may possibly be deceased. I am sorry for your loss. I just wanted to express my feelings about his family.
