John P. McBride, age 73, of Westerville, passed away September 25, 2016. Retired from Lucent Technology. Member of AA for 36 years. An avid golfer. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Kathryn; sons, John, III, Michael (Angela), Bryan (Stephanie), William (Carli), Andrew and Kevin (Stephanie); grandchildren, Dylan, Kaitlyn, Jayden, and Augustus; brother, Robert; sisters, Patricia, Gina and Joanne; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, John, Sr. and Marie McBride. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 8 p.m.. Private interment.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. May the God of Comfort be with you. 2 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 3 and 4. Soon the words of Jesus regarding the resurrection will be here for you to welcome back your loved one. John chapter 5 verses 28 and 29. It was never God’s plan for us to die and soon he will eliminate death Revelations chapter 21 verses 3 and 4. And we will live forever on a paradise earth. Psalm 37 verse 29. I hope that these scripture bring you a measure of comfort.
