WOW. The last time we spoke was during the Covid lockdown when my younger son and I spent the afternoon at your house. Nancy and you were so welcoming. You just popped into my head this afternoon - and I came across this... May your sorrow be comforted by the Hope of the Resurrection. Looking forward to seeing Jack again on that day.

Jack introduced my husband and myself to the wonderful world of Ferrari. We purchased our first Ferrari from Jack who guided us along the path of sports car ownership. Jack was so very caring and knowledgeable, and we loved his sense of humor. Both John and I, as well as our Ferrari, will miss him so very much.

Jack was a great friend, advisor and consultant. I remember when my father and I working for the city of Westerville. I always dreamed of one day I would purchase and own a Ferrari. Anyhow, my Father and I were working for the city and we had to truck out the lime for the water plant. We would drive trucks down “Fancher Rd” & every now and then a beautiful Ferrari would come scorching by! I didn’t know where the cars were going but I know something was going on with these cars around the area. With my passion and knowledge for Ferrari increasing I somehow stumbled across an ad or some type of advertisement for a shop call “All Ferrari Parts” which I didn’t know at the time but was across the street from Jack’s shop. I spoke to a gentlemen named Tom Vail & he told me about Jack’s shop across the street. I never visited because I felt a bit intimidated at the time because I was a broke student working on my pilot ratings and certificates. Anyhow around 7 or 8 years ago a car came up for sale in Columbus that I was very near much interested in. It was a bit much for me to swing at the time for that type of purchase but I came aware about how Jack serviced and regularly took care of the car. I stopped in and discussed the car but the fact is though that even I didn’t purchase that exact car I made regular visits to Jacks shop and we spent countless hours talking shop, family and careers. He was a great friend and be dearly missed. The Ferrari community has lost a true “amici”. My thoughts and prayers are to Nancy and the Babbitt family😢

Dear Nancy and Family, I was so saddened to hear about Jack’s passing. Nancy, I know it has been many years since I have seen you but your dear husband and I go back to the 1980’s when Dennis McCann introduced us. I am so happy that after Dennis’s passing I called Jack and drove to see him at the shop. We talked about the old times and celebrated our longtime friendship. Such a great time with your dear husband. Little did I know that great ti e would be the last. Please accept my sincere condolences for you and your family. Jack was a dear friend and will be deeply missed. May God Bless you and your family Nancy and your great husband. Sincerely, DAVID

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Jack’s passing. I have known him for years. He was always friendly and upbeat. Though we had a business relationship at Fancher Rd., I considered him a friend also. He will be missed by many. Wolfie
