Johanna B. Giasi, age 73, of Westerville, OH. Went home to God September 10, 2015. Graduate of Carlow University with an BS/RN Degree. Lt. NC, USNR. Member of Worthington Women’s Club, Beaux Arts, Women Today, St. Vincent DePaul Society and St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Survived by her children, Jennie (John) Wallace of Powell, Ralph (Rochelle) Giasi, Jr. of Milan, MI and Michael (Trudy) Giasi of Dublin; grandchildren, John, Hanna, Tyler, Ryan and Ralph, III; nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband Ralph and brother, Michael. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Sunday 5-7 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 6077 Sharon Woods Blvd., Columbus, OH Monday at 10 a.m. with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m., Rev. Fr. Cyrus Haddad, celebrant. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Prayer service Sunday at 7 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, contrbutions may be made to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.

Our deepest sincere condolences, we will miss Aunt Joanne’s wit & humor – even the past few weeks, she would always make you smile – those were great days in Sea Isle with Uncle Ralph & Aunt Joanne, Garrity’s ( Michael you remember well ) La Fontana’s ( Uncle Ralph always picked up the tab ) Great people – Let’s be sure to keep in touch with our Cousin’s – OMG – Remember the Anniversary party in Bethlehem !!! – we’ll always remember – always with a smile – Love you all
