MARWOOD
Jim Marwood, age 76, of Westerville, passed away Friday October 19, 2012 at home. Employed at Illinois radio stations as on air personality and chief engineer and retired from Harris Corp. as district manager of radio sales and broadcasts products division. Veteran of U.S. Marine Corps. Received technical training from DeVry and speech training from Columbia College in Chicago, IL. Jim enjoyed neighborhood walks, talks and dog petting. Volunteered as CAPA doorman for 24 years. Preceded in death by parents, Bob & Ella Marwood; sister, Mary Lou Hummel and brother Robert, Jr. Survived by loving wife, Sue. Sons; Jim, Jr. and Brad (Karen); grandchildren, Jered and Kellie. several nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life service will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday October 23, 2012 at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road Westerville with visitation from 3:00 p.m. until time of service.
