Uncle Jerry you are missed so very much. The two of us shared the same initials, until I got married. In the last few years I found out you actually had a middle name, just not an initial. I remember swimming with you at Lake Alma. Sledding at our home in Blacklick, Ohio. I have fond memories of homemade cowboy movies and you and my dad using ketchup for blood. And I remember playing the spoons as the family gathered as you played along with my dad. You will always have a warm spot in my heart. When I called you and I can still hear your voice it was "hey baby". My heart, love and prayers go out to your family. You are out of pain and now with family and your beloved wife. Rest with the Angels.

I’m so grateful for the day our cousin Kathy and Jerry met and they found out they were cousins. And I’m also grateful for the time we spent together although far and in between. Last September 2022 was our last. His smile and loving character was infectious. You will always be in my heart, Until we meet again. Praying that the family will feel Jesus’s presence and loving comfort and he will give you rest during this time and always. Your cousin, Vickie

Jerry was a cousin, but he felt like a brother to me. His sense of humor and his love of life and family will be missed.

Jerry and I spent countless hours on his front porch trying to fix the problems in Centerburg. I would walk out onto my porch and Jerry would say come on over as he went inside to get me a cup of coffee. I used to call him Mayor, even if he wasn’t. He would chuckle then we would talk about everything you could imagine. So many times we laughed like kids. He was funny but most of all he was one of my greatest friend. I’ll miss you until my lord calls me to join you and Marie.

Jerry, you were such an awesome Uncle to me & my siblings. I have always had the best of time when with you. You & Marie only showed love to me, not judgement. I know, with the distance between us, I was unable to visit as often as I wanted to, but I knew you were there for me & for so many other’s. Your love, understanding & patience will be so greatly missed. I will always love you and will see you soon.. Barbara Jo
