Gerald C. ”Jerry” Doorley, age 84, of Westerville, died Friday, May 9, 2014 at St. Ann’s Hospital. Retired from Producers Livestock Association. Member of St. Paul Catholic Church for 30 years and most recently, St. Matthew Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. U.S. Army veteran of Korean War. Survived by his children, Karen Doorley, Patrick Doorley, Joseph Doorley and Kevin (Manda) Doorley; grandchildren, Jill (Doorley) Zender, Joyce, Spencer, Jake and Tyler Doorley; great-grandson, Liam Zender; brother, Mark Doorley; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Jeannette M. Doorley; parents, Carolyn and Joseph Doorley; sisters, Jane McCoy and Mary Alice Young. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Wednesday 5-8 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 N. State Street, Westerville, Thursday at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Fr. David E. Gwinner, celebrant. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
