We are so saddened to hear of our good neighbor Ms. Jean’s passing!! Still in shock. Thank you to her grandson for being with her!! Our heart hurts for her family and surrounding neighborhood friends. She was such a beacon. Always had a smile and so family oriented. I hope we’ll still get to enjoy the pit fire gatherings from across the way as the light should burn in honor of her. We always love the morning waves, when our pups when would “having their own conversations”, and meeting at the backyard gate! Ms. Jeannie was our girl!! There are so many things to say about her but most importantly we are really gonna miss her and Mr. Jim! Ms. Jean we miss you already!! Love from The Burbridges!!

My grandfather, Jack Bope worked with Jean at the bus garage and we also live in the same neighborhood. Jean would always drive by and ask how we were doing after my grandfather retired. We saw her just a month ago at my grandmothers funeral. She was always so kind and fun! My grandfather and my family are so sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace with eternal life. May God bless you.

Jean was our close neighbor for over 40 years. She was always upbeat and sociable. She even decorated one of her yard's pine trees for the Christmas season just for us to enjoy it from our house. Jean was a delight to speak to "over the fence." Our thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family. Now she can again be with her beloved Jim. May eternal rest be hers.

I'm so sorry to hear this. We were good friends in high school. My husband and I visited them when they lived in California. Just ran into her and Julia at Lowe's this summer. So sad.
