Janet Elizabeth Cliver

Janet E Cliver, age 91, of Westerville, OH, formerly of Charleston W.Va. and Clayton, N.J., passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, December31, 2022. Janet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She dedicated her professional life to public service, never meeting a stranger. Many would often hear her singing hello, hello, what a wonderful word to know as she greeted new friends, old friends, and every passer-by. Janet was a member of the Westerville Church of the Nazarene. Janet loved Jesus and her number 1 priority was serving God. Janet loved her family a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck, she enjoyed reading, dancing, long walks, and conversation. She was a true lover of people, always ready for a good party, and ready for a spontaneous dance in a moments notice. Janet is survived by her children; Jane Burke, Charles (Denise) Cliver, Stephen (Dorinda) Cliver and Kimberly (Charles) Preston; 14 grandchildren including Carrie (Dave) Holak, Nicole (Victor) Defrance, Chris (Melanie) Burke, Tom (Nicole) Cliver, Samantha (Mike) Connolly, Dustin (Brittney) Burke, Daniel (Anne) Cliver, Justina Tillman, Rhianna Cliver, Taiylor (Samuel) Romine, Adison (Wesley) Rengert, Conrad Cliver, Emylee Preston, Lance Preston and 22 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Harold Cliver, her son-in-law Francis Burke, parents Harold and Carolyn (Durham) Cuff, sisters Patsy, Deloris, Sarah, brother Harold (Junior). Friends may join us for a celebration of life at Westerville Church of the Nazarene, 355 Cherrington Road, Westerville, Ohio, on Saturday , 1/7/23 at 11a.m. Mark Ledford and Samuel Romine, officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery in Sewell, NJ. Arrangements by MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, Westerville, OH.
