Jane "Ellen" Williams passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024. Ellen was born in Zanesville, Ohio to Esther and Paul Morrison on March 28, 1937. She is predeceased by both parents, husband John, twin brother Richard and nephew Jay. Surviving are her four sons, Tom Zinsmeister of New Albany, Adam (Kim) Zinsmeister of Worthington, David (Pam) Zinsmeister of Gurnee, Illinois and Jason (Laura) Zinsmeister of Delaware. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; Kevin, Paul (Colleen), Casey (Jacob), Ian (Katie), Jamie (Jake), Zachary, Ellie, Kelsey, Sarah, Tim and one great-granddaughter Kole, with a great-grandson to join the family this summer. Ellen also leaves behind a brother, Ron (Peggy) and sister-in-law, Dorothy, both of Zanesville, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Ellen retired from Westerville City Schools after many years in the Transportation Department. She will be remembered for her dedication to her family as a selfless and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. The family wishes to acknowledge the staff at Mayfair Village Nursing Center for the professional and compassionate care to Ellen over the past two years. Ellen's infectious smile and laughter made everyone feel welcome. She was not the one who looked to be the center of attention but loved planning get-togethers for family and friends to have a good time. There were many times she enjoyed getting together with Barb, Ann, Norma, Diane, Melba and Missy to have a girls night out. Her hobbies included making different crafts with her hands: Ceramics, needle point, sewing to make special outfits for her grandkids. Daisy was her favorite flower and she always loved to see them in full bloom. We will always remember how she never said anything negative about others, taught us how to love and be kind to others, putting family first and helped us all be the best we can be. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on March 30, 2024 at Thompson Funeral Home in White Cottage. Further details will be posted on Moreland Funeral Home website closer to the date of the service.
