SPAULDING


James A. Spaulding, age 74, departed this life to rest in peace on July 1, 2011. Resident of Columbus, OH (formerly of Laurelville, OH). His memory will live on through his surviving wife of 48 years, Imogene Spaulding; son, James (Karen Drake) Spaulding; daughters, Diana (Tim Painter) Spaulding, Trish Spaulding and Tonya (Chris) Murray; ; grandchildren, James, Rhonda, TJ, Mary, Jamie, AJ, Anthony, Tiffany, Jerod, Briana, Shala, Ben and 7 great grandchildren. brother Joe Spaulding; sisters; Frankie Waller, Stella (Mike) Thurman and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothy Spaulding; brothers, Lonnie, Jesse, Wallace and Ess; sisters, Ethel, Sarah, Polly, Bertha and Alice. James was a beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather. His life was happily spent loving and providing for his family. His warmth, caring, humor and generosity will always be remembered and that memory will be cherished by those who were blessed to know him. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road Westerville, Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where service will be held 12 noon Thursday July 7, 2011. Graveside service and burial will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi, OH. Many thanks to Heartland Hospice for your care and assistance.
