He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is Lois Goetz, his long time companion.

He had two careers. He worked at North American Aviation (now part of Boeing) in the aerospace industry for 25 years while he was raising his family. He became involved with the League of Ohio Sportsmen, which led him to form the Wildlife Legislative Fund of America, renamed the Sportsman Alliance, fighting for the rights of sportsmen. He lobbied for hunters, fishermen and trappers throughout the country. He was a Director of the National Wildlife Federation and spoke in many places throughout the world. One of his loves was living in Coshocton, Ohio, on the lake where he built a home for all the family to enjoy. He held an annual deer camp there every year.

After retirement, he moved to North Port, Florida, where he was very active in the community. He was President of the Homeowners Alliance and served on the citys Planning and Zoning Commission. His one true passion was golf, starting as a young boy, and continuing until his last game at the age of 92.

I’ll always smile when I hear his name. Am grateful to have been part of an extended family that he created at WLFA. Mr. Glass was the best boss, best leader and really cared about his employees. He was truly a man of achievement who had a mission that saved legal trapping in Ohio. And he did it his way...
