James W. Day, age 93, of Westerville, OH. August 22, 2011 at Manor Care Westerville. Retired from U.S. Postal Service. Member of Church of the Messiah U.M., Teamates Class, Still Going Strong and Ye Ole Buzzards Club. World War II veteran of U.S. Army Air Corps. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary; children, James W. (Juli) Day, Jr., Jonathan (Patty) Day, Elizabeth (Robert) Thompson and Cynthia (Tom) Slocum; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Walter Page; nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at Church of the Messiah, 51 N. State Street, Westerville, Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. where family will receive friends 1 hour before the service, Rev. Jim Wilson, officiating. Private interment. Arrangements by MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, Westerville.

Dear Aunt Mary, Jim, John, Liz and Cynthia,
Losing a loved one is so very hard but to know that they are without pain and in a better place somehow makes a differance. I remember Uncle Jim growing up as a child and he always made me laugh!! Love to all
