Jacob H. Hill, age 67, of Westerville, OH, passed away October 31, 2014 at St. Ann’s Hospital after a brief illness. Retired from the Kroger Co. and Proton Production. Survived by his wife of 31 years, Karen; daughter, Joy (Anthony) Fisher of Marion., OH; grandchildren, Alexis, Justin and Cassidy Osipow; mother-in-law, Laura Kraft of Columbus; numerous friends. Visitation will be held at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E, Schrock Road, Westerville, Tuesday 4-8 p.m. where service will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m., Rev. James Meacham, officiating.

I met Jake at Polaris almost 15 years ago. He was an awesome man. When we would talk, I would say, “Jake, I love you!” He would always reply, “I love you more, I’m bigger!”. I thought that was the coolest thing. Jake always made every situation better. Almost every night when I put my kids to bed and tell them I love them, they reply, “I love you too” and I say, “I love you more, I’m bigger”.
I am truly sorry for your loss. Jake will be in our hearts and our memories forever.

To Jakes family…. I would like to express my deepest condolences to all of you. Jake was one of the finest men I have ever known. Funny and kind, always helpful and off the hook. I know he is looking down upon all of you with a smile knowing he was loved beyond words. I said a prayer thanking God for letting him be a part of our lives as well. Our years at Proton will always serve as great memories.
