Jack D. Sproul, age 77, of Westerville, OH, Saturday, May 3, 2014 at home. Retired from the State of Ohio after more than 40 years of service. Past Master and secretary of Capital City Lodge #656, also member of The Scottish Rite, Aladdin Temple Shrine and secretary of High 12. Supervisor of Stadium Ushers at OSU for more than 40 years. Former Board member of ODJFS Credit Union. An avid Buckeye Fan. Jack was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra; children, Teresa Elswick, Karen (Michael) Vatter and James (Julie) Sproul; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruth. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m., Rev. John Jackson, officiaitng. Entombment Kingwood Memorial Park.

I am so sorry for your loss, I met him a few times and he was a very cool guy. Last time I saw him, he was playing pool at Jason’s Halloween party. He was having fun and giving Jason a run for his money,lol. It is not easy to lose someone dear to you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
