Irmgard Kurapkat

Irmgard Kurapkat, 95, of Westerville, Ohio passed away Monday November 22nd surrounded by her family. Survived by Son, Wolfgang Kurapkat; daughter-in-law, Judith Ross and son, Walter Kurapkat. Preceded in death by her husband Wilhelm Kurapkat; parents Martin and Francesca Siedespeck; brothers, Martin and Fritz Siedespeck. Irmgard was born on July 23, 1928 and grew up near Kloster Andechs, Munich Germany. WWII had ended when she met her husband in a dance hall. The two of them had already started a family when they decided to move to America. Arriving in Sunbury Ohio in 1965, they soon settled in Westerville and began their successful W.K. Masonary business. Her family would like to thank all the friends of the family, the doctors and nurses at Smith's Mill Health Campus of New Albany, Ohio.
