I had many conversations with Hugo over the years through the pharmacy window at Drs. Hospital North and West. He was a good friend to all with a great sense of humor. We will all miss him.

Worked with Hugo close to 3 decades! Loved his infectious smile. Ate many lunches together. He was always willing to help us in Radiology, with any questions.

Hugo was a really good Man. He took me under his wings when I was a young man learning a skilled job in a grown up world. I was afraid and he assured me, you got this. He taught me to always be professional and trust the numbers in each calculation. We would share a cup of crappie hospital coffee half and half. And always bring it to me with a smile. I was afraid of screwing something up knowing he came in the morning behind me and would kick my but if I didn’t schedule an I.V properly. We all fussed and laughed together, we were family. To his lovely wife, I will be praying for you during these difficult days ahead. And to his family, he was a beacon of peace. Take what he taught you all and allow it to give you strength to go full steam ahead and finish the race. From the time we all were born, God knew our expiration date. And to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Hugo ran his race with a smile. I’m praying for you all. God Bless you and may Heaven continue to smile upon you.
