Henry L. Reeb, Sr., age 80, of Westerville, passed away Monday, March 7, 2011 at St. Ann’s Hospital. Born in Briggsdale, Ohio. U.S. Air Force veteran. Retired as Captain of Columbus Fire Department in 1983. Served 2 terms as a trustee on the Ohio Police and Fire Pension Board. Henry was elected as a Plain Township Trustee and served 12 years. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Margaret; children, Phillip Reeb of Columbus, Ellen (Dave) Kothman of Loveland, OH, Diane Reeb of Columbus and Henry L. (Theresa) Reeb, Jr. of Westerville; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Thelma Huffman of Grove City, Louise DeWitt of Columbus and Dorothy (Jim) Morris of Reynoldsburg; brother, William Reeb of Galloway, OH; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Wednesday 3-7 p.m.. Service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 4686 E. Walnut Street, Westerville, Thursday at 10:30 a.m., Pastor Charlie Woodward, officiating. Interment St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Assn., 3380 Tremont Road, Columbus, OH 43221.
