Helen Mae (Pennington) Moore, age 92, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Helen was retired from Lazarus Northland where she worked as a gift wrapper and "boob fitter". She was a master Euchre player. Her many hobbies included reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, crafting, crocheting, gardening and refinishing furniture. Preceded in death by her husband, John Moore; daughter, Tammy Mallasee; siblings, Carl Pennington, Geri Seymour, Sewell Pennington and Mary Jean Stout. Survived by her daughter, Terry Moore; son, Mike (Michelle Thomas) Moore; grandchildren, Heather Shaffer, Erin (Justin) Hibbitt and Alex Moore; great-grandchildren, Kamden and Kadence Hibbitt; niece, Gayla Deskins. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Helen worked for me in Lingerie at Lazarus Northland. We all enjoyed her perky spirit and wit. The world was a better place because of her. I hope she is rejoicing with her fellow “boob fitters” in heaven . I miss that group of fine ladies.
