Helen A. (Souder) Barb, age 99, long-time resident of Westerville, OH. March 20, 2014. Life-long homemaker and gardner. Member of Grace Lutheran Church for over 75 years. Survived by son, Donald (Bruce Davidson) Barb of Stockton, NJ; daughter, Patricia Barb of Westerville; nieces, nephews and their families, Sharon Souder, James and Edna Souder, John and Connie Souder, Ruth and George Wolfe; several cousins including Barbara and Harold Rhinehart and family. Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Robert; son, Joseph; siblings, Amy, Orville (Selma), Carl (Ila), Clark and Elmer Souder. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Saturday 4-6 p.m., Sunday 2-5 p.m.. Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 100 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Monday at 11 a.m. with visittion 1 hour before the service, Pastors Will Hartfelder and Richard Walston, officiating. Interment Otterbein Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contribtions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church Playground Fund or Living Waters Lutheran Church, Ringoes, NJ.

I just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you and was so sorry to read of your mother’s passing. She lead a very long life and I remember hearing and “seeing” the passion she had for gardening.
