Harry Arthur Dennis, age 77, of Westerville, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on April 14, 2017. Harry was born April 14, 1940 to the late Russell and Mary Dennis in Columbus, Ohio. He retired from Unisource (formerly Copco Papers) in 2006, was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, a Shriner and a 32nd degree Mason. Harry’s love for serving others and larger than life personality will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by parents Russell and Mary (Ferguson) Dennis, wife Alice Jones Dennis, brother Richard Dennis and niece Amy Dennis. Survived by daughter Michele (Timothy) Adams, son Russell and daughter-in-law Karisa Dennis, brother and sister-in-law Thomas and Alice Dennis, sister-in-law Helen Dennis, niece Julie Dennis and grandchildren Mary Alexis, Zachary, Jacob, Hayden, Tanner and Teagan and a host of loving relatives and friends. Our family wishes to thank those who showed love and support in Harry’s final days. You will never know the depth of our appreciation. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 22, 11 a.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 307 Huber Village Blvd., Westerville with visitation 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Bishop Dan Dickson officiating. Private interment immediately following at Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CHA Animal Shelter, 3765 Corporate Dr., Columbus OH 43231. Arrangements by MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, Westerville.
