Hale Moore Crim, age 90, of Westerville, died peacefully at home Monday, September 19, 2011. Born in Joetown (Mannington), West Virginia, Hale was a proud West Virginia hillbilly, who was transplanted to Ohio in 1958 due to his job with Pet Milk Company. He was also a proud WWII Army Air Corp veteran, serving with the 544th Bombardment Squadron 384th Bomb Group (Heavy). Later in life, Hale spent time with his wife judging barbeque competitions and travelling between Westerville and Cordele, Georgia. Hale is preceded in death by his daughter, Denise McFarland. He is survived by his wife of 65
years, Jacquelyn; son Gary (Jenni) Crim; daughter Stephanie (Kent) Gibney; son-in-law Howard McFarland; grandsons Geoff Crim and Kyle (Crystal) Gibney; granddaughter Arden Gibney; and great granddaughter Lily Gibney. Private family graveside service and interment at Pioneer Cemetery by MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, Westerville.
