Chandra and family,
My family and I are truly very sorry for your loss. I haven’t had the chance to see your mom for a very long time, but I do remember all the times when I was younger coming over to your house with your mom always welcoming me. Her kind words and laughter will never be forgotten. You are in our prayers.

Teresa (Etterling) Martin - Jan 25, 2012

What an influence Gretchen has been in my life! Her words and actions have influenced me from my teenage years to the present. Her encouragement and prayers in the difficult tasks (nursing school, deployment, mothering) and the preservation of the connection even though miles away through cards and letters and photographs over the years are treasured. The memories are too many to recount, Her presence is already missed. My heart is with you.

Jo Anne and Tom Etterling - Jan 25, 2012

Our Love and Prayers will continue on with each one of you as we remember daily all we’ve shared together over the years. You ll always be in our hearts as will our prescious Gretschen, dearest friend….Always JO & Tom

I was only with Gret a short while, but I felt I had known her forever; Gret
was that type of person, kind, gentle and open. The perfect Grandmother, her
letters were always full of tales of her beloved grandchildren..things that
only the very best Grandmothers notice and take time to relate. Our hearts,
thoughts and prayers go out to All who knew and loved her and dear Granny
Gret will be very sadly missed by the Hooper family in Australia.

Dear Kristen & family — Although I only met your mother a few times, she was always friendly, cheerful and seemed to be the family rock who will be missed by everyone who knew her. May your love, memories and faith in God see you through this difficult time. In deepest sympathy, Don & Barb Hamm
