Glenna Jean Hendrickson, age 97, went home to the arms of her heavenly Father on December 2, 2025. She was born in Centerburg, Ohio on February 20, 1928 to Chelsea and Louise
Cowman and has lived her entire life in Centerburg. She graduated from Centerburg High School in 1946. On April 6, 1946, she married the love of her life, Russell Hendrickson, and
they enjoyed 64 happy years together until he died in 2010.

They had four children, Candy, Murray, Holly, and Jan.  Jean was a lifetime homemaker, happy to stay home and raise her family. She was well known as the Avon Lady of Centerburg for many years. She enjoyed Murrays band practicing in her home. She was an active member of the local CB Club in the 70s. She also loved going to ceramics classes and making many items there, many of which we still have. She made a lovely large Nativity set with all figures hand-painted. She also made a miniature General Store set in the olden days and hand-made many of the fruits and vegetables displayed in it. She loved her scratch-off lottery tickets, playing bingo, and her computer and tablet, where she enjoyed playing word puzzles and games. She
watched a lot of TV and her favorites were Chicago Med, Fire and PD as well as the reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond and The Price is Right.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother James Hobart Burgess, her husband  Russell, and her son, Murray Hendrickson. She is survived by daughters, Candy McCracken
and Holly (Greg) Chadwick, and son, Jan Hendrickson; daughter-in-law, Mary Hendrickson.; grandchildren, Diana (Tracy) Payne, Rick Shultz, Justin ( Erin) ORiley, Joshua (Becky) Clarke, Jeremy Dick, Jason (Lori) Hendrickson,
Brandi (Dustin) Whitesel, Ryan Matthews, Bob (Cynthia) May, and Leah Hendrickson; great-grandchildren, Jake, Kevin and Grayson Payne, Nevaeh ORiley, Shelly and Cameron Clarke,
Alexandra, Mina and Vivi Dick, Megan (Jake) Hackett, Cody (Brandy) Griffith, Austin (Sara)  and Levi Thorpe, Chloe Whitesel, Colton May and Ashton Matthews, Callie and Lily May and eight great-great
grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Jeans memory to the Centerburg Senior Center or the Centerburg High School Alumni Association. Calling hours will be held at Johnson- Melick-
Moreland Funeral Home at 49 W. Church Street, Centerburg, Ohio on Friday, December 5 th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Cremation will follow. A graveside service at Eastview Cemetery
in Centerburg, Ohio is currently postponed until the temperatures and weather conditions are suitable. That date and time will be announced when it is determined.
