Glenn Eugene (Gene) Meek, age 69, of Westerville, Ohio went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2012. Born March 22, 1943 in Coshocton, Ohio to Kenneth and Geneva Meek. Graduated from Coshocton High School in 1961. Married June Marie Russell September 21, 1963. President of E & I Corporation for 36 years. Served on the board of the Central Ohio Parkinson Society and founded GE Meek Family Cruise-In for Parkinsons. Among his many interests were woodworking, cars and NASCAR racing. He was a cherished husband, father, Pa Pa, brother and friend to many. Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marilyn Jones. Survived by beloved wife, June, daughter, Lisa (Rick) Tiburzio; sons, Todd (Angela) Meek and Kenneth (Deb) Meek; precious grandchildren, Ashley Marie Kloeb, Zachary Joseph Kloeb, Jenna Elizabeth Meek, Sydney Marie Meek and Collin Glenn Meek; brother, Dick (Shirley) Meek; brother-in-law, Donis Jones and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 16th at the Church of the Messiah United Methodist 51 N. State Street, Westerville, from 10 a.m.to 11 a.m. with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m.. Rev. Jim Wilson officiating. Following the service a gathering of family and friends at the residence to celebrate the good memories. He fought a brave battle against heart disease and Parkinson disease for 16 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to National Parkinson Foundation Central and S.E.
