Gerald Marvin Wong, 85, of Westerville, passed away Saturday November 7, 2009 at home. Founder and Owner of Yin Yue Restaurant in Columbus. Survived by loving wife of 37 years, Yin Sue Wong. Son & Daughter-in-law, Ying Wei & Hong Hong Wu of Westerville. Daughters & Sons-in-law; Remy & Simon Poon of Seattle, WA. and Yuet & Ying On Chan of Columbus. Grandsons; Johnny Wu, Michael Wu and Theon Poon. Granddaughters; Shelly Wu, Olivia Poon, Melissa Chan, Betsy (Ian) Davis and Elyse (Michael) Good. Great Grandchildren; Elijah Davis and Evalena Davis. Sister, Qiongfeng Wu. God Daughter, Susie (Ka Cheong) Yu. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road Westerville, Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009. Rev. Li officiating. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery Columbus.

I did not know Mr. Wong personally, but saw him for years at YinYue’s. He was always smiling and always pleasant. Loved to look at his art and to watch him draw. I’m still going to YinYue’s! Bless your family.
