Georgiana L. (Thomas, Marasek) Pearson, age 99 of Westerville, OH. Born March 29, 1916 in Otway, OH and passed away January 21, 2016 at home. Graduate of Otway High School and Portsmouth General Hospital School of Nursing. Staff nurse at White Cross Hospital and office nurse for the late Henry W. Karrer, M.D. in Dublin, OH. Charter member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal and St. Andrew’s Anglican Churches, also member of Westerville RN Club and American Red Cross Volunteer. Survived by children, Peggy (Jim) Pye of Charleston, SC, Nancy Marasek of New Albany, OH, Philip D. Pearson of Shelby, OH, Toby Pearson of Taylor TX and Stephen (Carole) Pearson of Plain City, OH; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; lifetime friend, Euradale Kempton; nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by husbands, Carl H. Marasek and Philip D. Pearson, Sr., son, Thomas Marasek, parents, Thomas C. and Emma Mann Thomas, brother, Herbert Thomas and sister, Elizabeth Spradlin. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Sunday 2-4 p.m.. Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, 7521 S. Old State Road, Lewis Center, OH, Monday at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Ron Baird, officiating. Interment Union Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Andrew’s Anglican Church.
