George D. ”Danny” Carres, age 65, of Westerville, OH passed away April 15, 2013. Retired from Sheet Metal Local 98. Member of Little Turtle Golf Club. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Connie; daughters, Tammy (Thomas) Fogel and Tracy Carres; granddaughters, Alyssa and Kayla Fogel, whom he loved spending time with; brother, James (Beth) Carres; sister, Vianne (Richard) Gossett; nieces, Adrienne Gossman and Jenifer Grissom; and many friends. Preceded in death by grandson, Kyle Fogel; parents, George and Margaret Carres. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday 5-8 p.m. where service will be held Friday at 11 a.m., Rev. David M. Redding, officiating. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Children’s Hospital.
