Mrs. Patricia M. Blair - Nov 25, 2010

When I was a little girl, I remember waiting on my father to come home from the hospital so that he could tell us all about the new baby. That baby was Garland. My younger sister and I were so excited! When we saw him we thought that he was very cute. Recently, Garland and I had a long conversation on the phone…I will always treasure that. And because of our amazing God and his Word, which is faithful and true…I look forward to seeing him and talking to him, again. I am so excited!
” …And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last. I am he that liveth and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen.;…” Revelation 1:17
Cousin,
Patricia

Steve Johnston - Nov 7, 2010

Mr. and Mrs. McIver, and Allen – I am very sorry for your loss.
Growing up in Huber Ridge with Allen and Garland made for such an awesome childhood. I have so many memories of playing sports on Natalie Ct. S. all night or on weekends until Aunt Betty called the boys in for dinner or for bedtime. I remember that kick ball or baseball in the court usually involved a ball hitting your house, thank you for being so patient and understanding.
I remember Garland being a lot of fun to be around, always funny and in a good mood. He had a great smile that was infectious.
I have so many great memories of Garland and will never forget him.
– Steve (aka to Garland, “Stevie”)
