Franklin Gwinn of Westerville, Ohio and a former resident of Circleville, Ohio passed away on August 27, 2025. He was born on October 23, 1933 in Meadow Bridge, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loma and Missouri Gwinn; sisters, Francis Gwinn, Louise McGraw and Louella Patterson and a brother, Loma Gwinn. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruby Gwinn of 68 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 22 years. He retired from the Air Force with the rank of Chief Master Sargent. After his retirement from the United States Air Force he worked in industry facilities management.

While in Circleville he and his wife loved to garden and go to auctions. While living in Circleville he was a member of the Community United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Circleville Garden Club and a volunteer at the mental health center. He was a member of The Church of the Messiah in Westerville. Both Frank and his wife, Ruby loved spending time with family.

He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie and son-in-law, Dennis Beaver; his grandson, Kevin Beaver and wife, Tiffany. He is also survived by his pride and joy, great grandchildren, Addison and Ethan Beaver. He is also survived by many neices and nephews.

Visitation will be at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Ohio from 1:00 - 1:30 p.m. on September 6, 2025 where service will follow at 1:30 p.m.. Interment at Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Nationwide Childrens's Hospital 700 Children's Drive Columbus, Ohio 43205.

A special thanks to the staff at Paramount Senior Living in Westerville, Ohio and Hospice Care 360 for their loving care of Franklin.
