Faye Mills

Faye Mutter Mills, age 88 of Westerville, Ohio passed away April 13, 2022. She was born September 6, 1933 in Grundy Virginia, the daughter of George and Mary Edgar Mutter who preceded her in death. In 1952 Faye graduated from Grundy Senior High School and began working for the Ben Franklin dime-store in Grundy. In 1961 she married Harold W. Mills who also preceded her in death. She loved children and after her husbands death she ran a successful childcare business from her home for nearly 30 years. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Westerville who loved her Church family and was known for her generosity and kindness. She was Chair of the prayer chain for many years and looked forward to speaking with her fellow chain members nearly every day. She also loved baking, antiques, and jewelry, not necessarily in that order. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Lyle (Evelina) Mutter, Vonda Mutter, and Anne (Charles) Vestal, all of Grundy Virginia. She is survived by her children Lisa Mills of Bloomington In, Jeanie Reitzel of Worthington Oh, Kim Mills of Atlanta Ga, and Vonda Mills of Bloomington In; her grandchildren Shasta (A.J.) Reynolds, Breanna Barker, and Cassidy (Ian) Zanger; her great grandchildren Aubrey and Harper Reynolds; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held from 11:30 -1:00 on April 19 at First Baptist Church of Westerville, 104 S. Spring Road, Westerville, Ohio 43081. The funeral service will follow directly after. Faye will be interred at Northlawn Memory Garden, 7060 State Route 3, Westerville, Ohio 43082.
