Ethel Mae Bogan, 89, of Westerville passed away peacefully on September 6, 2013. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed. Ethel was born September 3, 1924 in Crawford County, Ohio to the late Anna and August Hocker. She graduated from North Robinson High School. Ethel was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed reading, gardening and volunteering for The Red Cross for many years. Preceded in death by her brother Paul Hocker and sister Violet Bogan. Survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Myron ”Mike” and her children Larry (Carol) Bogan of Galena, OH, Richard (Paula) Bogan of Cumming, GA and Carol (Scott) Livingston of Westerville, OH, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Rd, Westerville, OH on Monday September 9, 2013 from 4-7pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, North Robinson, OH on Tuesday September 10, 2013. Family will receive friends at the church starting at 9:30am, followed by the service at 11:00am. Internment at Memory Gardens. The family wishes to thank the caring staff of both The Village at Westerville and Heartland Hospice.
