GALLOWAY


Ernest Lee Galloway, 78, entered into eternal peace on November 20, 2012 after a long battle with cancer and Parkinson disease. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia on May 4, 1934 to the late William C. and Callie Galloway, the baby of ten children. Graduate of Warwood High School, class of 1952. Graduate of Mississippi State in 1956 where he played football in the SEC. He served as First Lieutenant for the United States Army in Germany after college. Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Bonnie; children, Kimberly (Steven) Nieto of Westerville, OH, Lori (Ralph) Restadius of Dana Point, CA and Dr. Michael (Stacey) Galloway of Greenville, OH; grandchildren, Erin (Cameron) McNeil, Craig Galloway (Brianne Clymer), Kristin (Keenan) Chapman, Ashlee Restadius, Aimee Galloway (Nick Kraft), Evan Nieto, Connor Restadius, Kimberlee Galloway (Darren Leis), Megan Galloway, Joshua Galloway; great grandchildren, Kirsten, Caleb and ”Baby to Be” McNeil; mother-in-law, Mary Margaret Kadel; siblings, Ross (Mary) Galloway and Fannie Galloway O’Brien; many special nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his siblings; Colonel, Dean, Mae, Rudy, Wilma, Bill”Sonny” and Paul Galloway. A special thanks to Jennifer and Taylor of HomeReach Hospice and Deb Sargent of Interim Health for all their love and care. Visitiation and services will be held at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road Westerville, Friday November 23, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. with a service to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Kobacker House, which graciously took care of Ernie over the last days of his life or HomeReach Hospice at www.ohiohealth/foundation.com.
