Elton L. "Al" Jehn, age 93, passed away peacefully at home on March 21, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his eldest son, Elton. He is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia; his children, Tony, Regina Jehn Haberl (Raimund Haberl), Matthew (Jill), Daniel, David, and Sherman; and his beloved Yorkie, Daisy Mae. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Born in Grayling, Michigan, Elton proudly served his country during the Korean War. He later made his home in Columbus, Ohio, where he owned and operated the Lion’s Den Barber & Beauty Shop for 50 years. He took great pride in his work and truly loved serving people in his community each day. Dancing was his favorite pastime activity.
Elton will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
Visitation will be held at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. where service wil be held at 1 p.m., Rev. David M. Redding, officiating. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery on Hempstead Road in Westerville, Ohio.
