Elizabeth B. Trasin, age 95, long-time resident of Friendship Village of Columbus. Graduated Ohio University, trained paralegal. Member of Sigma Phi Gamma International Sorority. Court reporter for the United States District Court. Preceded in death by husband, David J. Trasin. Survived by sons, Paul (Patricia) Trasin, Donald (Lynda) Trasin and daughter, Ann Trasin (Donald) Walters; grandchildren, Sarah (Nick) Gramly, Jeff Trasin, Amanda (David) Carey, Emily (David) Rabb, Rachel (Adam) Clark, Jill Trasin and Nina (Ryan) Jerome; great-grandsons, Luke, Carson, Colin, Jackson and Owen. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 1-3 p.m., service to follow at 3 p.m., Pastor Steve Benninger, officiating. Our condolences to all the Trasins and their families. Thank you for sharing Betty with us for all these years! She was a true joy to be around, her and my mom,Thelma, used to have a lot of “talks” and laughs! I know they are enjoying their reunion in Heaven, as Dave and everyone greets her! She was a “gem”.
