Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Mitchell, age 87, of Westerville, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012. She was born in Boonton, NJ, daughter of the late Matthew and Elizabeth Bednar. Survived by daughters, Jaimee (Kevin) Archer of Hillsboro, OH, Kathy (Randy) Thornton of Newark, OH and Johanna (Ron) Mitchell of Eugene, OH; sons, Matt (Becky) Mitchell of Scottsdale, AZ and Mike Mitchell of Westerville; grandsons, Stephen, Brian, Kyle and Zachary; sisters, Mary Ann Bednar of Boonton, NJ and Barbara Ann Stadler of North Creek, NY; niece, Abdey and nephew, Joseph. Preceded in death by her husband, George Mitchell and brother, Matthew J. Bednar. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Tuesday, April 3, 2012 5-7 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 N. State Street, Westerville, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Fr. David E. Gwinner, celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church.
