Edmund L. “Ed” Rice, 86, of Sunbury, passed away July 13, 2016 at home. Formerly of Jackson, Ohio. Retired from Jeffrey Dresser Manufacturing. Veteran of U.S. Air Force. Member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church of Sunbury. Lifetime member of V.F.W. Post # 4719 of Gahanna. Survived by loving wife, Jane (Maher) Rice; children; Pamula Lillie, Carol (David) Fraser and Joseph (Michelle) Rice; grandchildren, Colleen Lillie, Patrick Lillie and Andrew Rice; niece and nephews, Katie Foltz, Scott Foltz, Allen Rice and Louis Maher. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 East Schrock Road Westerville, 4-8 p.m. Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2016 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, St. Joseph Cemetery. Lockbourne, OH, Rev. Fr. David E.Gwinner Celebrant.
