Dorothy Charlene Atkeison, age 89, of Lewis Center, OH formerly of Somerville, TN, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home surrounded by family on April 27, 2015. Retired from Fayette County (TN) Health Department in 1987. Member of Genoa Baptist Church. Survived by her daughter, Anne Buchanan of Westerville; granddaughters, Angie (David) Pence and Missy (Jeremy) Thoma, all of Westerville; great-grandchildren, Zach (fiance, Stacey), Bailey, Nick, Abby, Joey and Braydon; sister, Samantha Williams of Olive Branch, MS; brothers, Buster (Joyce Anne) Morris and Jesse (Patsy) Morris, all of Somerville, TN; numerous other family members and her beloved schnauzer, Molly. Preceded in death by her husbands, George Druie Atkeison and Ray Farris Glover; parents, Donna Inez and Thomas Ray Morris, sister, Peggy Stainback, brother, Thomas Ray Morris. Friends may call at the Peebles Funeral Home, 18020 Highway 64, Somerville, TN Thursday from 12 noon-2 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment Somerville City Cemetery.
