Donna Pangalangan

Donna J. Tucci Pangalangan passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026. She spent her final days just as she loved to spend every day: with her family.

Donna was born on September 19, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio. She enjoyed a beautiful childhood with her parents Jim and Mary Tucci, sister Deanna and twin brother Don. Donna attended St. Augustine Grade School, graduated from Bishop Watterson High School in 1958, and went on the get her nursing degree at St. Francis School of Nursing. After graduation, Donna worked at St. Anthony Hospital. She loved her vocation to serve as a nurse and gave comfort to many.

While working at St. Anthony Hospital, Donna met Augusto L. Pangalangan. Auggie quickly fell in love with Donna (and her entire family!) and they married September 1,1962. Donna and Auggies adventure began in Columbus, then continued in Manila, Philippines where they started a family. Together they returned to Columbus, and as their family grew, they made their home in Westerville. Donna and Auggie touched countless lives together through their servitude at St. Paul Church and grade school, their medical practice and community wellness clinics. Their home was open to many in need and Donna strived to provide a safe and comforting space for all.

Donna cared deeply for her family. She was a loving daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Donna was beautiful and brave, and she tirelessly worked to make life full and special for those around her. Her joy was ever present even when life was challenging.

Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Auggie Pangalangan; her parents Jim and Mary Tucci; and sister-in-law, Barbara Tucci. She will be deeply missed by her children Dondi and Stacey Pangalangan, Amy Moler, Darin Pangalangan and Mary Chellis, Alisa and Andy Kraus; her grandchildren, Talia Pangalangan, Tabitha Pangalangan, Joey Moler, Mary and Stephen Combs, Julia and Noah Pangalangan, Anna Pangalangan, Sophie Kraus, and Phoebe Kraus; great-grandchild, Cora Combs; her sister and brother- in-law, Deanna and Jim Flacche; brother, Don Tucci; and many very special nieces and nephews.

Donnas beautiful smile and generous spirit will be missed and never forgotten.

Friends may call at St. Paul Catholic Church, 341 N. State Street, Westerville on Wednesday July 1, 2026 from 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Fr. Jonathan Wilson, Celebrant.
