Donna L. Murphy, age 84, of Westerville passed away peacefully on July 1, 2024 at home. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Murphy. She is survived by her remaining sister, Kay (Miller) and the families of her five children, Joan (John) Sekinger, Steven Murphy, Mark (Beth) Murphy, Christine (Joel) Laks, Timothy (Jackie) Murphy; grandchildren, Lee, Jordan & Jacob (Sekinger), Mitchell & Emily (Murphy) Ryan Sengel, Kaleigh Knop, Zach Johns, Michael, Cassaundra & Bryan (Himes), Jack & Emma (Murphy) and great grandchildren, Daichi & Yamato (Himes), Abigail (Knop); many nieces and nephews. Her nurturing spirit and determination will forever remain in their hearts.
Donna's life extended well beyond her family as she touched the lives of many individuals during her 40 plus years of service as a registered RN at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville. After retirement, she became involved in the choir and Swiss Club.
Although Donna will be sadly missed by many, her spirit and strength will remain in the hearts and minds of those blessed by knowing her.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 7th from 4-6 p.m. at Moreland Funeral Home 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, OH 43081. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 8th at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of the Resurrection 6300 E. Dublin Granville Road, New Albany, OH 43054.
