Susie Reed - Oct 11, 2024

My family was attending Church of Christ at Alexandria when Buddy first came through the doors and my (now husband of 10 years but sweetheart then) and I were blessed to greet him and Teri at the front doors. What a huge and bright impact the Lays have always been since in our lives, blessing us with encouragement, generosity at our wedding and baby shower etc. Buddy’s enthusiasm every week was always a joy to my entire family. My children (8 & 6) along with my husband and I will miss him ever so dearly. Praying for peace in Teri’s heart and for comfort for the whole family. What a wonderful man Buddy was and I look forward to seeing him again in Heaven.

Debbie Brush Baker - Oct 11, 2024

I think it would be fair to say that Buddy was my dad’s (Ron Brush) best friend since childhood. I remember Buddy hanging out with my dad all my life. He was such a wonderful sincere person. It makes me smile to think of him in heaven hanging out with my dad again. Probably playing golf. I’m so sorry for your loss. I plan to see him again one day, and you will too My love and prayers are with you. Debbie (Brush) Baker
